Bears Christchurch are excited to be hosting something a little different this year for BBW2026…
Riccarton House and PÅ«taringamotu Bush is a premier 12-hectare heritage site located just 3.5 kilometres from Christchurch City Centre. It uniquely pairs a Category I Victorian/Edwardian homestead with the world’s last remaining remnant of ancient alluvial podocarp forest.
We are hosting a Saturday morning tour of both house and native bush, guided by one of our committee members and heritage expert, Edan Bowman.
Location:
Riccarton House and Putaringamotu Bush
165 Kahu Road
Fendalton
There is a cost of $10 per person to go towards the heritage costs of running such a wonderful venue.
