Cheers for your events and newsletters- being part of your network has allowed to make me feel connected in post-quake Chch.
I admit there is an ulterior motive in me emailing you today… and I hope you are able to consider assisting me with the following project:
Yesterday I kick-started a crowd-sourcing campaign on Boosted.org.nz, in an attempt to raise the final funds required to complete Scruff, a short film I have been working on since 2013. Last February we filmed the majority of the film around Christchurch, and the final scenes are scheduled for filming on the 1st and 2nd of August. Scruff has a cast and crew of talented locals, most of whom have given their time to this project without reimbursement.
I have just under a month to secure pledges (of any value) totalling $3000 – If I haven’t reached this goal by the end of our campaign then I get nada… However, I am hopeful, as we have already gained over 10% of the final goal in just the first day!
